Hi, there

When create components in PB or PJ, you can specify properties for connection
cache, instance pooling, or transation type etc. But when you create Web
datawindow DTC using PowerSite, you are not create any components to Jaguar. So
how could you use those component features, such as connection cache, instance
pooling, transaction etc. in Web datawindow DTC?

Thanks for any help.

Kin

From Powersite you don't have to worry about instance pooling, Jaguar
handles that. As for connection caching, Jaguar will try and use an
appropriate connection cache. If you want to force it, you can specify
"cachename=xxx" in the dbparm parameter of the SetTrans method. If you do
that you will have to enable cache by name access on the connection cache.
