I configured Jaguar connections OK.
Can use the HTML DW from Powersite and Personal Web server OK.
When creating a new deployment in Powersite with an ASP target and browsing
the same Jaguar server that worked with Dynascript,
I get the following error:

Remote method invocation error '80020009'
Either the Metadata for methods of the component could not be read from the
NT Registry or the methods are using parameter types that are not presently
supported in the Jaguar ActiveX Proxy Server.
/webapps/ulises_project/ObjMod.js, line 580

I did all the steps in the Jaguar Altenative configuration:
1- moved basicaly all the powerbuilder shared stuff to the jaguar server.
(system path directiry)
2- executed regsvr32.exe pbdwr70.dll
3- moved my .PBL to /Jaguar/Bin and also to a system directory.
4- IIS/ASP in in same NT server as Jaguar.
5- mover and edited the PBDWR70.REG and executed it.

All the EAStrudio stuff is Jaguar 3.0, PB7.0, PowerJ 3.0 out of the box.

The ASP code I use is:

<%@ LANGUAGE=JavaScript %>
<!--#INCLUDE
VIRTUAL="/webapps/ulises_project/ObjMod.js"--><HTML><HEAD><TITLE>
</TITLE></HEAD><BODY>

The syntax from 3.0 to 3.1 changed and there were issues with the install of
the Jaguar.ORB. Look in you JavaScript file and see if you can see the
syntax actually used to create the stub. If there is a method
obj.Initialize() you are using old syntax and should upgrade to EAS 3.01. If
you update to 3.01 and use the ActiveX stub make sure you read earlier
threads to install your ActiveX proxy correctly. We have a tip and our site
under Jaguar, but you can find it in this news group also.

Are you exporting the REG/TLB and registering it on the web server?

Dean;

The only download for EAS I find is the 3.0.1 Consolidated EBF.
Reading the instructions it says you need the 3.0.1 maintenance installed
before installing the EBF.

I cannot find the 3.0.1 maintenance download for EAS.
Could you help?

Thanks
Ulises

I forgot to mention that the Java Script is the one generated by Powersite
deployment. Powersite came out of the same setups CDs as Jaguar.

Thanks

OK I will upgrade to 3.1.
Could you please post the URL to the appropriate EAS download?
Yes, I exported the TLB and executed the .REG file in the WEB server.

Thanks Dean
