In powerbuilder, I can call an event for an object dynamically. If the event
is not implemented, a NULL is returned. I cannot do this with a Jaguar
component. How can I find out if an event is implemented in a jaguar component
before I call the event?

Thanks.

Instead of calling methods dynamically try putting in an abstract layer and
have your client call the abstract layer. So you call method A from the
client, create a object with method A. Now all components are inherited from
this abstract object. Now they are guaranteed to have the method, but may
choose not to implement the method.

Hope that make sence.

Another alternative would be to use the classdefinition object to find out
whether a function or event that u intends to call is being implemented by
the target component.
