In a certain report I've just designed, I'm getting 6 to 8 rows of the same
row. As an expamle, I'm getting check # xxxx 6 to 8 times in a row -- all 6
or 8 entire rows give the exact same info.

Ideas?

Hello,
you may try using the option "suppress repeting values" from menu/Rows
in the report designer.
Hope this helps.
Greetings,
Eva

Check your Select statement. Are you joining tables, causing one parent row
to be joined with 8 child rows?
Are you displaying all the columns on your report?
You can always use the 'Distinct' option in the SQL Painter to eliminate
duplicate rows.

Is the distinct option in IM 5.0 too? Can't find it.

Yes. If you don't have it, go into the Query Governor and select the
distinct option.
