Okay, perhaps I was doomed to find all the little irritating bugs in
Infomaker 5.0.03. In an effort to find another way to create a letter with
our company's letterhead in a report (after my last post), I created a
freeform report. The problem I have now is only after I compile the report
in to executable form.
I created the letter head in the report which works fine, then I brought
in the letter portion of the report as an OLE object from an MS Word
document. The report runs fine in IM. Once I compile the report in to exe
format, the report will run but will not show the OLE object. Any
suggestions? I thought it could have been some sort of resource problem but
I have tried many ways to get it to run correctly. Thank you again for all
your help it is appreciated.

Check the technical bulletin. OLE did not work properly deployed
because we were "forgetting" to copy the binary information necessary to
identify the OLE server in the runtime into the executable. I believe
one problem has been fixed in 5.0.04 (at least 2 bugs were logged and
fixed. One for forms, one for reports) but I think the other(s) were
fixed only in 6.0.

"records with hits" option and use InfoMaker in the search.
