Can someone tell me if we can utilize IM for applications designed on PB.
The main issue is if our clients can access runtime exe's and change or
create or modify reports that we have created for them

Thanks in advance.

Bill

Not directly. You can however build custom form styles in IM using PB, that
can do almost anything PB can. If you use IM6, you can go a step further by
modifying the class library IMSTYLE6.PBL that comes with IM6. Any changes
you make there, will directly affect exe's built with IM. As example, this
allows you to add PBD's to your search path for IM (using setlibrarylist()).
This way IM can access your PB application objects.
Take a look at the manual 'Building IM styles and actions' (PB5) or the
manual 'Application techniques, chapter 31' (PB6). There is not much info
available about customizing imstyle6.pbl unfortunately. If you are going
to the User's conference in L.A., I will be doing a presentation about
customizing IM.
