Good morning everyone,

I am making a report for custom labels. I have two tables; One is a
"CASE" table- which is like a medical case. The other is a "SPECIMEN"
table - which contains all the surgical specimen related to the CASE table.
It is a One-to-Many relationship. One case can contain many specimens.

i.e.
CASE: Case_id, lname, fname, mi
SPECIMEN: Specimen_id, Case_id

The normal SQL will give me this.
Case_id Specimen_id
100 B //for blocks
100 S //for slides
100 T //for tissues

However, I want to list Case_id such as 100 and all specimen_id in the same
line in a datawinsow like the format below:

Case_id Specimen_id
100 B,S,T

Is there anyway to this? Thank you in advance.

Sonny Do

If you use SQLAnywhere, you can use the SQL list() function. I don't know
of a way you can do this in IM itself. The closest would be a crosstab,
with CASE being the row, and SPECIMEN the column.
