When I create an executable using Infomaker it creates an ini file. The ini
file contains my userid and password. I created some executables and
distributed them before I realized this. Now I go into the ini and remove
the userid and password before I distribute the files. This is a bit of a
security problem. Does anybody know how to stop the program from puting
this information in the ini file.

Infomaker will automatically pick up the settings from your current
db-profile. If you change your db-profile to prompt for the password, then
IM will leave it blank when you create an executable.

1. You can manually remove the id/pw and it should prompt the user for
the info

2. Check out Building Infomaker Styles and Actions to create a form with
scripts of populating the SQLCA.

Andy,
IM automatically populates the default application object. You cannot
control it, unlike PB. You are completely at the mercy of IM.
