Hi,

I'm having a problem in report layout using IM 5. In the report, there are
five columns in the Detail band and I want to hide the row in all columns if
the sampleid = SampleID (a retrieval argument). The data for sampleid =
SampleID need to be shown in the Summary band.

I've used the visible Expression 'If sampleid = SampleID,0,1' and this will
create a blank row in between the data retrieved. I tried to use Slide
Object function (All Above) to remove the blank row but it didn't work as
the row above is not completely empty. Any suggestion?

Thanks.

The only way I see for doing this is by adding a nested report to the
summary band.
On the main report change your select : where sampleid <> :sample_id. On
the nested report have the same select but: where sampleid = :sample_id
