I have a report that includes a bar graph.. Is there any way to have a
field placed at the top of each bar that shows the numerical value that
bar represents. You can accomplish this easily with a pie chart format,
but unfortunately a pie chart won't work for this particular report.

Not that I am aware of. I would like that feature too. You might want to
consider using the OLE2style report, using something like MS Graph.
