I am running 16 bit IM5 version 5.0.03. I need to extract some
information from my database. I need to get he data in a fixed length
record format. I get the data, but when I go to save the rows, none of
the formats give me fixed length records. The closest format is text,
but it has tabs between the fields, which is not what I want. Any
suggestions? Thanks.

With IM there is no direct way. But you could save the rows to Excel
first. Within Excel you have an option to save with 'Formatted text (Space
delimited)'.
