I am currently working on a database for a particular class of mine
and I wanted to insert Binary Large Objects (Blobs)/Pictures into my
database. When I create my tables within Infomaker 5.0, it allows me to
declare columns of "binary" and "image" types. However, I can't seem to
put any data into these rows with files or pictures. When I go to the
data manipulation painter these columns do not show up.
The books on Infomaker only talk about putting Blobs into reports
but I want to put it in my database in order to create web pages via
Cold Fusion. I would think that there could be a way to insert such
objects. Does anyone know how to do this?

You'll need PB to do this. It has specific functions that allow you to
update 'blob' record types.
