Hi!
I'm using InfoMaker 5.0.03 to run reports from an Oracle 7.3
database. The problem is, the DB provider has just changed the table
setups, moving some values I used in reports into other tables, and
renaming some entirely. My question is: is there any way to change the
table name used by a 'Quick Select' Report in InfoMaker 5? If not, I
have to rebuild about 10 reports by next week. Any ideas? By the way,
if this is a stupid question, I apologize in advance, but this is only a
part-time (student) job, and I don't have a lot of time to do all of the
reports over.

Thanks in advance,
Mark A. Rakes

It is definitely not a stupid question. Go into the report, and then into
the SQL painter by clicking on the SQL Data button. You will see the list
of tables used in the query. From here you can click on the tables button
and select the renamed tables. Select the desired columns, create new
joins and then remove the undesired table(s) by rightclicking on the
table's grey bar and selecting close. If the column names in the old and
new tables are the same, your report should run unchanged.
