We have InfoMaker installed on a network. (version 5.0.03, 32 bit) We
can run it from one workstation, but not from another workstation. The
workstation we cannot run it from previously had InfoMaker installed on
the hard drive, but it was deleted. (Uninstall was not done; directory
was just deleted by the user.) I verified the registry entry for
IM050.EXE. It is looking at the correct path. The following error
occurs when we attempt to access InfoMaker from this workstation.

An application error has occurred. IM050.EXE Exception: access
violation (0xc0000005) Address0x1111163e

InfoMaker appears to open, then quickly shuts down. The error then
displays.

Do you have any suggestions? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

To run Infomaker of the network:

Modify c:\windows\win.ini to include the following section:
[Infomaker]
InitPath050=c:\pwrs

In c:\pwrs you place the im.ini file (just copy it from the network).
Now create a shortcut to the im050.exe on the network.
If you need to run SQLAnywhere, you will have to run a custom install of
Infomaker to install the SQLAnywhere component.
