Is there anyway to change the color of the bars on a bar graph? We have
a simple bar graph that displays one bar per category access and the
users would like to have it display in blue as opposed to the default
red color.

Not that I am aware of. You might want to consider using an OLE
presentation style report using Excel Graph.

Terry and all,

This is a topic that comes up a great deal with my students. When I
teach the section on graphs, invariably one or two students will ask
how to change the bar color (or the color sequence of the series). It
would behoove Sybase to somehow allow the changing of colors easily,
even if it involves modifying an ini file.

I just did some consulting work for a LARGE financial organization,
whose project involved the creation of numerous graphs to depict the
performance of their investments. With InfoMaker (and, of course,
PB), the first series color is always RED. Red in financial circles is
a very unfavorable color, since it usually means that there has been a
loss or deficit. And... there was no way to change it. The client is
a little displeased, and threatened to use a Microsoft product to do
the same reports. They won't switch, though. They've tried Access and
Excel and Crystal Reports before and what they want done cannot be
done with those products. IM won out.

Just my $.02.

I wish I could change the colors too. Keep sending those enhancement
requests to Sybase. However, my understanding is that the graph
presentation style won't be enhanced any more since there are already so
many graph engines around. I would look for some graph OCXs if Excel Chart
doesn't do it for you. PB6 ships with PSChart, there is Visual Components,
... Probably not the answer you want to hear. I'll do some more digging to
see if there is a another solution.
