I just upgraded from IM5 to IM6. When I run an IM5 report the data is
cached so that I can go back and forth to the report painter and make
changes to look of the report and check the results of the changes
without hitting the server over and over again. When I try to do
changes in the report painter in IM6 it it always trys to get the data
all over again from the server. Is ther some switch in IM6 that I need
to set to get it to stop doing this? On large reports this is a real
waste of time. Thanks.

In the report painter check the settings for 'Design, Options, Retain data
to design'.
