In a tabular report freefrom I want to compress to the left (so that
they disappear), those columns that do not have data, and single are
those that have data without spaces between columns

You can specify for each column to 'slide left'.

I hope I am understanding you correctly.

You have 2 fields, for example: City State Zip

When City is empty you would like to move state to the left.

If this is what you are asking then you should right click on the field
(city) and select properties, click on the position tab, and check the
slide left option.
