Hi-

I am new using Infomaker but have used PowerBuilder quite a bit. I am
trying to use either the executable form of a report or a PSR. What I
want to do is pass in a retrieval argument (and the connection to a
database, I suppose) without having the prompt for criteria box coming
up for the user, as I would already know it. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

I have a PB application that will do exactly that. Let me know if you want
to have the code.
If you use PB6, you can customize the IMSTYLE6.PBL to allow for passing
arguments etc to EXEs created with IM.
There is actually a patch for IMSTYLE6.PBL available, that allows you to run
IM reports in an IM EXE from the command line, although it will not accept
retrieval arguments. But it gives you a good idea of what is available.
