I have a free form that i have created and chose one field to be
prompted for criteria. But when i try to add a where clause in the edit
data source it gives me an error 1024, And then it does not look at
that criteria i can cut and paste the syntax to a isql window just fine
and it works great. but this won't work for some reason. Any
suggestions?

Thanks
Pat wright

Can you give me the exact error message. I cannot find anything related to
error 1024. Which database and driver are you using (ODBC, native ).
I tried with the Oracle O73 driver and I have no problems having/modifying
both SQL Where clause and Prompt for Criteria. I use IM6.5

the title is dwModify Error

Line 1 Column 1024: incorrect syntax,

Then another windows comes up that appears like a large select statement
selecting all the columns on the form. I know this can work since I tested
it at home and it worked fine something I am doing is wrong. which is
normal user error on my part. I use Sqla 5.5 build 1666, odbc is what i am
using to connect. On a side not i finally got my Sqla 6.0 can I use
infomaker 6.5 with Sqla5.5 server so that i do not have to upgrade my server
just infomaker? Thanks again

Based on this error I'm guessing that you created this form in an earlier
version of IM?
Copy (not move) the form to a different pbl and then try it again. If it
works, then delete the old form and copy the form back.

IM 6.5 will work with any version of SQLAnywhere.
