Hello: We recently converted a number of our users from Powerbuilder to
Infomaker. The main thing they do is run reports. They are reporting
that Infomaker is a lot slower than Powerbuilder. We are connecting to
an Oracle 7.3.4 database. Has anyone seen this before?, and if so, any
possible fixes.

Thanks,
Gordon Workman

That doesn't make any sense. IM uses the exact same drivers, dlls, same
painters etc as PB. Verify that the DBParm settings are the same. Are they
using the same sqlnet?
You can put a trace on both to compare performance between PB & IM. I use
Oracle 7.3.4 and haven't noticed any real difference between the
environments.
