I have tried unsuccessfully to get string arrays (even tried number
arrays in frustration) to work in containing reports with embedded
reports. When you right mouse click on the embedded report in order to
set the retreival property arguments, the string array retrieval
argument set in the embedded report does not show. (I.e. in the
embedded report I set sitename as a string array. In the containing
report I added sitename as a string array.) Have tried many different
things in the embedded report to see if I could get it to show in the
containing report to no avail. The use of this will be to allow the
user to enter off-site manufacturing sites by the the short name. With
more than one off-site, the array seemed to be be the only solution, if
I could just get it to work. The embedded reports run okay by
themselves. Any help is appreciated. I have tried this on other pcs
also. Using Infomaker 6.0.

On embedded reports there should be no need to use arrays. They normally
get the data from the actual rows on the main report itself, not from the
predefined retrieval arguments.
