Hi,

I have several problems & questions with infomaker v6.0.

1. Is it possible for me to run & print infomaker reports in the
background on NT thru' VB/PB?
or schedule the reports to be printed at specific time?
if there is a solution, can someone pls email me the codes?

2. I have been hitting general memory protection fault on NT 4.0 esp
with nested reports.
is there any patches that can over the problem? or what can be the
possible problems?

3. I have generated the executable of the reports with IM60, however
whenever
i ran the command report_name.exe /? , no message box with available
options to run the report pops up.
why? has it got to do with the imstyles60.pbl? if so where can i get it?

i'm desperately in need of help..

thankx.

1) I wrote a PB program to run my reports. Using NTs AT command you can then
schedule your reports.
I can probably dig up the PB code, if you are interested.
2) Try upgrading to IM 6.5. If you give some of the error messages, I can
do a search to see if they are known bugs. A lot of times it seems to be
related to which printer driver you are using, since nested reports go into
print-preview mode, which uses the current printer to determine proper
settings.
3) There was an unofficial version of imstyle6.pbl available, that had that
enhancement. If you want to, I can send you a copy. Send me an e-mail.
BTW, you can change imstyle6.pbl with PB and thus create new functionality
for your exes.

For my program it doesn't matter. For your IM exes that you want to run
with arguments, you'll need
the one available at
ftp://ftp.powersoft.com/pub/private/pbpatch/im6.0_fixes/imstyle6.zip
