Hi All!

I have a problem with call some stored procedures Sybase 6 through BDE
(Borland Database Engine). If in stored procedure after once or more
operators UPDATE or INSERT used SELECT for returning recordset and if it

procedure was called through BDE then all operators before SELECT are
executing twice.

For example:
alter procedure Test1(@Id, @a)
as
insert into Test (Id, a) values (@Id, @a)
select @Id as NewId

It is inserting 2 identical rows into table "Test".
If it procedure is called from ISQL or used Sybase 5.x - it works right.

Any suggestions would be most helpful.
Thanks.

Denis.

Post this question in newsgroup sybase.public.sqlanywhere.general. That's
where the ASA gurus are.
