I'm not really familiar w/the 16bit IM install I was just testing it out on
a Win 3.11 machine and
after the install when I open IM I get the message that it can't find the
pb.ini file. A help window
pops up. I close it and IM seems to run fine when I run a few reports from
the sample pbl.
Do you know why it is looking for a pb.ini and how to get rid of this
message. No pb.ini is
installed but I don't see pb.ini installed on 32bit installs and do not get
this message.

This is version 6.5.

Tks a head of time.
Doreen

I can't find anything about this. Did you look in the im.ini to see if
there is a reference to pb.ini?

There is a section for pb the same as in the 32bit Im.ini. It really only
defines some web links and doesn't seem to be related to the problem. It
looks like some help files are not being found as possibly they under went a
name change or something. When the error displays it also displays a help
file it has found. Anyway, if I browse and select the help folder, select
add and then select set, it seems to fix the problem for future launches of
IM. I found the same thing happened after IM was open and the initial error
was resolved if I then selected Help from the menu. I again browse to the
help folder select add then set and I no longer run into the messages. I
can't see where it is writing this information to for future reference as
the IM.ini file has, from the beginning, always pointed to the correct help
folder.
