I am planning in providing many of my end users with Infomaker. But, I am
concern about the convenience of let them do queries directly on my
production database. Should I be concern?
We're running Oracle 7.5

Thank you for your help

Oracle 7.5?
In IM you can restrict users through the query governor. It allows you to
set a limit on the number of tables joined, number of rows retrieved, max
time allowed to run and a few others. When you install IM on the network,
you can set it up such that users cannot override these settings.
Within Oracle you can also specify resource limits. Look at the CREATE
PROFILE command.
