I have made a few queries using Infomaker 6.5 build 444 and cant see how I
set the
distinct keyword after the select statement?

I am sure I will be embarrassed at the answer

While in your enviorment choose Power Panel then Query Governer - you may
setup distinct there.

It's not that obvious, but in the SQL painter there is a menu option:
Design, Distinct.

Where is that mentioned? In the online help I can only find under the
section 'SQL Select data source':

"11 If you want to eliminate duplicate rows, select Design > Distinct from
the menu bar to add the DISTINCT keyword to the SELECT statement."

which is correct.

In Section
Infomakers User's Guide
Part 2 Reports
Chapter 4: Defining Reports
Then look at Item 7
"7 If you want to eliminate duplicate rows, select Distinct from the Options
menu. This adds the DISTINCT keyword to the SELECT statement. "

Ok

FYI, they fixed it in the IM7 documentation.
