I am using Infomaker and connecting to a SQL Anywhere Database.
I am attempting to display a report that has date values in it. The dates
are stored in the database a strings comprised of 8 characters.
For example, 09/02/1998 would be represented in the database as the string
19980902. I do not wish to display this date on the report in this ugly
format. How do I go about taking this date and transforming it into
YY/MM/DD format before it displays? Thanks for any help !!!!!!!!

Add a computed field using the DATE function. For example,
DATE(your_string_column). Then you can use the properties of your computed
field object to use whatever date format you wish.
