This may be a very elementary question...I am making an edit style that is a
drop Down list box and I also want to have the attribute of being required.
When I create a form, put a field on the form, select this edit style for
the field, it shows that it is required. However, when I run the form, it
doesn't make the field required. When I go back into design, the required
box in the edit style is unchecked!! This is driving me crazy. what am I
doing wrong?

Which version of IM: 5.x, 6.x. 16/32 bit? If you are running 5, make sure
you get the latest patch:
http://support.sybase.com/esd/pb.html gives you acces to 5.0.04 and 6.5

It's definitely a bug. I reproduced it in both IM5.0.04 and IM6.5. Report
it to Sybase. I will report it as well.
Use CaseExpress to report it: http://etsprod.sybase.com/casexpress/cx.stm
