Has anyone seen this ODBC error message on Windows 95/IM6.0.

SQLSTATE = IM003
Specified driver could not be loaded due to System Error 1157.
(Oracle72).

The driver is there & is working on other Windows 95 clients. I had the
user de-install Oralce & MS Office to try & clean up their ODBC & that did
not work.

Thanks

You probably installed Office 97 after Oracle. Office 97 has a nasty habit
of breaking just about any ODBC driver. Reinstall the Oracle ODBC driver.
Out of curiosity, why don't you use the native Oracle driver with IM. It is
a lot more reliable than any of Oracle's ODBC drivers (1,15, 2.0, 2,5 etc).
It also gives you the capability of using stored procedures as a source for
your reports.

We need to use a custom driver in order that the user can take advantage of
our software's security schema.

I did have the user de-install the both Oracle & MS Office but they probably
re-installed it in the same order as before thus resulting in the same
error.

Thanks very much!
