Under Win95/98 when we launch Infomaker from within our product, nothing
happens. It launches fine from start/programs...... If we put the shared
dll's in the users environment path then IM launches but this is not an
option.

Under WinNT, however, IM launches fine from within our app without moving
the dll's.

We are a 16bit app and using the Winexec command. Have any suggestions?

Tks ahead of time
Doreen

I don't know if this will help, but we also allow IM to be launched from our
product. To get this to work under 95/98 we need to add the directory
containing the PB/IM shared DLLs to our apps app path.

We didn't want to modify the path as we are not controlling the location for
the install of IM. We are now using a shell command for Win95/98 and this
seems to be allowing IM to execute from within our app.

Does that work when calling a 16-bit application? It wouldn't be looking in
the registry as far as I know.
