When creating a report in InfoMaker and setting up the Where clause under
Edit Data Source in the SQL Toolbox, one of our users will make the
comparison, right click, and select values. When he does this, he is
prompted to log into the database. He recently upgraded his version of
InfoMaker to 5.0.02. When he was on an earlier version, he was not prompted
to log into the database every time he wanted to display values from the
table. Now he is prompted each and every time he modifies the query. Is
there a switch that will keep this from occurring?

Thanks!

I cannot reproduce this under 5.0.03/4. You might want to try installing
the 5.0.03 patch. I could not find a setting that would affect this. I
tried changing the parameter 'Keep connection open' (accessible on the
query painter screen through Design, Options), but it didn't make a
difference.
