I am using the following expression for the font.weight property on a
certain column in a nested report:

if (right( item_number, 3) = '001', 700, 400).

In other words, I want this column to display bold if the item_number column
ends in '001'

If I preview the nested report by itself, this expression works great,
however, if I execute the report that contains the nested report with the
same data, the column does not display bold when it should.

I am using IM 5.0.02 (I tried the same thing in IM 4.0.05 using the same
data and it worked OK).

From the Bug Infobase:

http://info.sybase.com/cgi-bin/folioisa.dll/techbull.nfo/query=?realquerydlg

Use 'records with hits' option.

( I remember working on this one). OK in 5.0.04.

Bug Number:40339 Priority:1

Reported In:PowerBuilder EE 5.0.02 OS:NT 4.0
Fixed in Build(s):

6.0 5.0.04.46

Fixed in File/DLL(s):

PBDWE60.DLL PBDWE050.DLL

Description:
Some datawindow column conditional expressions are not evaluated
correctly on nested or composite
reports. Font weight and Font Underline expressions (if(b,t,f)) work
correctly on normal
datawindows but not when the datawindow is nested. Font color does
evaluate correctly.

Development: Definitely broken in 5.0.02 and 5.0.03. Fixed in 5.0.04 and
6.0 by other changes to the
datawindow.

I would report this as a bug. Use WebExpress to submit it.
