I am writing a stored procedure in Sybase (v11) but need to access a
table in MS SQL Server (v6.5). Is this possible? Your help is greatly
appreciated. Please send you response to luudzanh@thegrid.net.
TIA,
Luudzanh

This can be achieved in several ways
- create a copy of the table in Sybase that gets updated on a regular
basis (the batch jobs each night)
- When up-to-date information is needed: use OmniConnect (included in
ASE 11.5) to connect to the MS-SQL server. You might need to buy a
seperate DirectConnect module to connect to MS.

I work with MS SQL 6.5 without DC.
