Hi,

I have a method in my remote object, that takes both java.util.Date and
a java.sql.Date as arguments. Indeed, it is a dummy method for enabling
Powerbuilder to generate proxies for both objects. When I try to
generate proxies from within Powerbuilder, PB hangs unexpectedly. When I
do the proxy generation from command line using ejb2pb90, I see only one
java_Date.srx file is created and inside this file, javaname is set to
java.sql.Date. When trying to manually import these generated proxy
files into Powerbuilder, I see PB hangs when trying to import java_Date.

I am using Powerbuilder 9, build number 5501 on a W2K Workstation SP2
machine.

Thanks,
Gökhan

Gokhan,

There was a bug with Date where the proxy would inherit from datatime
versus nonvisualobject. If you look at the .srx file for the
java_date proxy, does it show that it inherits from datetime? This,
by the way, is fixed in the GA release.
