I'm not sure what you are asking. Do you want to write EJBs or write
PB code that accesses EJBs?

Well I'm not sure what is your definition of fault tolerance, but a
component is a component once in EAServer and the server, or cluster
of servers handle failover and load balancing. I believe that PB
components can be used in both stateless failover and stateful
failover if your version of EAServer supports that.
