Is jConnect 3.0 still being supported by Sybase? If so, why is the
trial version no longer available from the home page? How do I get a
valid trial version? My company is attempting to qualify Sybase's
jConnect drivers with our products and I'd like to know which versions
you're currently supporting and how to get the above-mentioned jConnect
3.0. Thanks for your time.

For licensed customers, jConnect 3.0 is supported. We are not providing
a trial version of 3.0 because jConnect 4.0 has been released and it
includes more functionality and has some additional performance tweaks.

Please understand it is very time-consuming to provide multiple copies
of a product for trials so we have decided to always make the latest and
greatest available.

Once jConnect 5.0 (which starts beta soon :-) ) goes GA , then you will
no longer be able to get the 4.0 trial version.
