DC;

Why not use symbolic variables in your template? For example: &&Name,
then locate it's position and replace the "&&Name" with your
rte_1.inputFieldInsert("Name"). Then the user can maintain the template
separately from your PB application.

regards ... Chris

DC,

PB's built in RTE Control has a few limitations and Sybase is not upgrading
this as far as I know. You could look at a couple of inexpensive third party
Rich Text controls that I have used on some projects. The tool from
SubSystems before ( www.SubSystems.Com ) worked quite well, and had great
support. Another tool is available at http://www.textcontrol.com/.
