How do I programmatically obtain the name of the datawindow control on the
window? I don't want to use the physical name of the datawindow control
when doing a retrieve etc.

I.e. datawindowcontrol is named dw_emp and instead of coding
dw_emp.retrieve(), I would like to programmatically obtain the name of the
datawindow control and they code dw_variable.retrieve().

Thanks in advance.

You recurse thru the control array of your window, determine the type of the
control (with Typeof() call) and if it is of type datawindow! then you call
a retrieve on it.
