I am trying to use CIS to handle the transaction between several
application servers and a central server.

Total connection of application servers is about 5,000. If I use CIS to the
central server, that means the central have to handle 5,000 connections, I
wonder whether the central server can support such a huge amount of
connections. (As stated in Sybook, "When connecting to a remote server on
behalf of a client, the server uses Client-Library functions. Once the
first connection to a remote server is established for a given client, that
connection remains open until the client disconnects from Component
Integration Services.")

Does anyone know how to handle this problem, is there any method to handle
the connection at central server if a connection is "recv sleep" for a
certainty duration (e.g. 2 second). Or anyother better alternatives?
