I am getting this error in the executable on win98 computer. Using an excel
spreadsheet as the souce. The odbc is set up just like my win2000 computer
(where the pipeline works fine with the executable).

Of course "error in source database" is so meaningful - helps me so much.

Any ideas why this would be OK on a W2K machine and not a 98?

Just FYI in case anyone else runs into this. The problem was with the ODBC
driver for Excel - it said that it could not find the file. When looking at
Microsoft support, they admit that there was a problem, and there was a
workaround - that did not work.

I downloaded the lastest odbc drivers for 98 - (which are the same version
as those for W2K) and my pipeline works now!

FYI
You also could check the transaction object properties for the 'identified'
side of the problem.
