We have a client who is getting aGPF in PBRTC80.DLL (8.0.2 9506) editing a
letter in our application.

The code works fine on Windows 98, 2000, and XP for the customer and for us.
On our only ME machine the code works okay.

I remember having this problem years ago and it was because of some Windows
component or Office version being on the machine. Does anyone have any
ideas that could help

Most likely it is a incompatibility between PBRTC and the Windows equivalent
DLL file...see if you can do a dependancy check on the DLL to see what it is
loading or looking for...

Andy,

What is this Windows equivalent DLL your talking about? Were having some
RTE problems with large documents where it worked correctly on NT and 2000,
but not on 95, 98, or ME.

Any info would be appreciated.
