can I use an OLE object like excel to "paste" html and then copy the
formatted text or extract by cell ranges? or is there a better way without
using third party utilities?

Last thing I want to deal with is some utilities that I have to "run(...)"
as that will give me headache dealing with subsequent extract file opening
via fileopen. ( "run(..)" seems to be asynchronous, PB app will gain control
before the 'run" process completes and closes files)

I think I know how to extract values from cell ranges and how to paste
value to worksheet in OLE excel but have no clue on how to paste html .

I guess another possibility to get the formatted text out of a web
browser,but I have not found any info on that aspect.

Btw, I would have parse the html myself with powerscript except for some
unusual formatting and split search targets across lines

thanks for your time
