Dear All,

I have a inverted master-detail window whereby the detail item dw display a
list of suppliers. The way this window is currently working, if focus is on
the detail dw, by using the up/down key will display a list of suppliers for
the current item in the detail dw. What the user wants now is to add a
vertical scrollbar on the detail dw. The problem I'm having is, eventhough
the vertical scrollbar scrolls to the next item but that didn't make that
item the current row hence it did not retrieve the respective supplier for
that item.

Can anyone help me with this problem? Any suggestions? User don't want two
seperate buttons for scrolling up and down. They want to use the scrollbar
... just like window environment.

I'm using PB6.5.

Many thanks in advance.

Regards

I'm not sure I understand what you are doing. The detail dw- has multiple
rows? And you are scrolling it with a vertical scrollbar?

If so, take a look at the scrollvertical event in the datawindow control.
When the user scrolls, that event fires.

In that event, you get the first row on the page, or whatever you need to
get the keys for the related datawindow:

Long l_row
l_row = dw_control.Object.DataWindow.FirstRowOnPage

Does that help?
