Hi,

I was trying to Update my Oracle Blob with a BMP file.
The data from the BMP file; a picture is to be displayed in another
window.
Using an OLE control in my Window, I used ole_1.InsertFile(filename) for
users to select
the picture file and insert into the table blob column. However it seems
that InsertFile is inserting the file as an OLE object into the OLE control
and then updating the whole OLE object into my Oracle Blob.

I have problem retrieving the picture for display later because it is
not BMP format.

Appreciate any suggestions, thanks.

You can read the file into
a blob variable and use
the UPDATEBLOB embedded
sql statement.
