Does anybody have recommendations for a scheduling utility for running
database backup scripts on NT. I'd also appreciate any utilities to
avoid.

Thanks.

As already mentioned, WIN AT does the job. However, an optional component
of Internet Explorer 5 called "Offline Browsing" installs a "Task
Scheduler" that appears to be much easier to use. (Possibly more
reliable?) It has a quick wizard that does the work for you.

The Task Scheduler becomes a folder in Windows Explorer near the bottom.
It works on Windows 95/98/NT. Try it out on a Windows 95/98 box to play
with it first.

Yes.

Can't quite sure of the syntax, but you'll get the general idea.

AT EVERY M,Tu,W,Th,F,S,Su 10:00 abc.bat
AT EVERY M,Tu,W,Th,F,S,Su 11:00 abc.bat
AT EVERY M,Tu,W,Th,F,S,Su 12:00 abc.bat

AT

(Or use WinAT from the NT ResourceKit for a GUI).
