Hi all,
Are the dmp files of Sybase portable across platforms..?
Example :
I have a dump file created on NT version of Sybase. Can I use this file
on Solaris to dump the database?

Thanks in advance...
Raju.

Hi Raju,

No. The easiest thing would be to use RepServer or SQL Remote to 'sync'
the two systems' databases. The next would be to use bcp.
