I'm using the Sybase DB, Monitor and Backup servers and need to stop
them all from a script.
I have tried with: net stop "service name" but it failed with: The
specified service does not exist ....
E.g. net stop "Sybase BCKServer_DBSERVER_BS"

Am I using the wrong syntax or?

Do you have another method to do this from a .cmd file?

(I'm using ASE 11.9.2)

Use this syntax: "net stop sybbck_YOUR_BCK_SRV_NAME". You can also
find this, as well as the syntax for starting/stopping other types of
servers, in the ASE Quick Reference Guide Supplement, which you can
download from http://www.euronet.nl/~syp_rob/ase_qref.html .
