I'm not sure I understand your question (I'm no java expert though). Any java application can connect to an ASA
database using jConnect, and you can run load and run compiled java classes in the database engine. Can you re-word
your question and be a little more descriptive?

Thanks.

Sorry,
We use ASA 7.0 and load java classes. Now we have to install the software
to customer that has ASA 6.0. Can we load Java-classe to this System.
Thanks Karl

Yes ASA 6 supported Java, but the ASA 6.x used JDK 1.1.6 and ASA 7.x it used
JDK 1.1.8. So I wouldn't assume that your java classes would work in a 6.x
database just because they worked in a 7.x database. They could, but you
need to test this to be sure.

I would also suggest 2 guidelines when considering jumping between
versions.

1) Always test when moving between versions. Especially major versions which
will have a list of documented behaviour changes since earlier versions.

2) While any major version change requires testing, it will generally be
easier to move forward between versions than backward.
