We're using the ODBC driver called "Sybase System 11" version,
which comes with Adaptive Server Enterprise, in a web application on
Windows NT 4. We'd like to use connection pooling, but the setting for
connection pooling for the Sybase client is unavailable in the Windows NT
ODBC Data Source Administrator. I assume there's a good reason, such as the
driver not being thread-safe.

Does anybody know:
1. if it's safe to force connection pooling by changing the CPTimeout
setting in the registry?
2. if not, if there's another ODBC client available that can provide
support for connection pooling with Adaptive Server?

Thanks in advance.
