We are currently running ASE 11.92 on NT4 sp4 with 2G RAM with sybase
using 1.75G by changing the 'shared memory starting address' to 23662592

We want to increase the RAM Sybase is currently using

Is it correct that the max shared memory available in NT4 Enterprise is
3G ??

Does anyone know the max shared memory for Windows 2000 AS ??

Thanks
Jonathan

You should be able to get over 2GB with Enterprise or 2000, but I personally have not done
it. Your swap file will need to be rather large, possible 2 x physical RAM. And you may
have to tweak the ASE executable using a utility in the resource kit.
